The Varsity Girls Soccer Team is on their way to Huntsville and the AHSAA 1A-4A Final Four! When the team takes the field against Montgomery Academy tomorrow morning, it will be the ninth time in 12 years that Springs has made a Final Four appearance - the most of any 1A-4A school in the state (and third among all Alabama high schools). Springs celebrated the community between the Board of Governors, alumni, faculty and student body during a May 4 school-wide assembly that saw the passing of the baton of Board leadership, recognized outgoing and incoming Board members, and celebrated the school’s 2012 Outstanding Alumnus.
ISS has named retired Birmingham attorney and artist Elizabeth “Libby” Pantazis as Chair of the school’s Board of Governors. The parent of three Springs alumni, she was named Chair during the Board of Governors meeting held May 4 on the ISS campus. She suceeds Doanld hess '66, Board Chairman since 2007.
