To that end, in the classroom I seek to convey my enthusiasm for the study of the biology of the natural world with the goal of fostering this enthusiasm in my students. I strive to create a safe and encouraging learning environment where students can experience the joy of learning about the living world and take that sense of the joy of learning with them beyond the classroom."
