Li ’23, Nakano ’23 Earn Perfect Scores on the ACT

Indian Springs seniors Cynthia Li ’23 and Mayu Nakano ’23 scored a perfect “36” on the ACT, placing them in the top 0.25% of more than 1.34 million test-takers in the past year.

Cynthia is a member of Indian Springs’ scholars’ bowl, mock trial, and science olympiad teams and participates in student government as part of the Judiciary. She is on the tennis team, plays the violin, and sings in Indian Springs’ nationally renowned choir. 

Mayu has won numerous regional and state science fairs awards and placed fourth at the 2022 Regeneron International Science Fair. She is a member of Indian Springs’ science olympiad team and French club, plays the piano, and practices Kendo, a modern Japanese martial art. 

Cynthia and Mayu were recently named AP Scholars with Distinction and National Merit Semifinalists.
