Twelve Seniors Named National Merit Finalists

Twelve students from Indian Springs School have been named 2025 National Merit Finalists:

About 15,000 seniors were chosen as 2025 Finalists based on their Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test scores, academic records, participation in school and community activities, demonstrated leadership abilities, employment, honors, and awards. Finalists also had to be endorsed by a school official, show outstanding grades throughout their 9-12 grade years, and submit a written essay.

Finalists will now have the opportunity to be awarded one of 6,870 scholarships worth more than $26 million and earn the title of National Merit® Scholar. Winners will be named in a series of releases throughout the spring and summer.
