Bingham ’24 and Mashburn ’24 Recognized for Test Scores

Isaiah Bingham ’24 was named a College Board National African American Recognition Program Scholar based on his outstanding academic achievements and test scores.
 
The College Board National Recognition Programs create pathways to college for underrepresented students by awarding them academic honors and connecting them with universities across the country. To be eligible, students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and have excelled on the PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT 10 or earned a score of 3 or higher on two or more AP Exams. They must also identify as African American or Black, Hispanic American or Latinx, Indigenous, and/or attend school in a rural area or small town.

Will Mashburn ’24 was named a Commended Student in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program. 

Will’s score placed among the top 50,000 of the more than 1.5 million students who entered the competition by taking the 2022 PSAT/NMSQT. He will receive Letters of Commendation from the school and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, which conducts the program.
