Financial Aid

We award $2.7 million in financial aid each year, supporting 30% of our student body. Financial aid is available to students of any race, gender, religion, national origin, ethnicity, or sexual orientation. Family finances are confidential and do not affect a student’s admission decision. Financial aid is determined after a student has been accepted and is awarded in the form of a tuition grant. All students applying for financial aid will be considered for over 20 named scholarships. At Indian Springs, all scholarships are need-based.

Indian Springs is committed to helping our families return for each school year. Every family receiving financial aid will be required to complete the financial aid process annually while at Indian Springs to determine eligibility. Families' financial situations will change from year to year, and awards will be adjusted to reflect the amount for which a family qualifies.

How to Apply for Financial Aid

Indian Spring’s financial aid program is designed to make an Indian Springs education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. Indian Springs is proud to use the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application, which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.

To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools.

Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application, as Indian Springs requires you to upload additional tax documentation.

The deadline for completing the financial aid application, including relevant supplemental documents, is December 1, 2024, for returning families, January 24, 2025, for new day families, and January 31, 2025, for new boarding families.

If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@claritytuition.com or 206-210-3752 in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.

Senior Scholar Program

The Junior / Senior Scholar program allows one rising junior and one rising senior to switch from day to boarding each year. This program provides a unique opportunity for students to experience residential life before college, and students are able to make lifelong memories in the dormitories before embarking on their next chapter.

The recipient of the Junior Scholarship and the Senior Scholarship will each receive $20,000 to help offset the tuition difference between day and boarding.

Families hoping to receive additional financial support beyond this will need to apply for need-based financial aid. To apply for the senior scholarship, students just need to send their resumes to Mike Rowlett at mike.rowlett@indiansprings.org. The deadline to apply is January 31, 2025
